Before Jesus was arrested, he and his closest followers had the last supper. He told them to do this meal often in remembrance of what he has done. When God delivered Israel from Egypt, God judged Egypt by the deaths of the firstborn sons. Israel was spared by the spreading of lamb’s blood across their doorposts. They were commanded to celebrate a Seder meal every year to remember what God has done. Passover is a shadow in which Jesus is the substance.
Join us this Good Friday for a unique experience. We will celebrate the Seder meal and communion together. We will worship the God who delivers us by the blood of the Lamb. Open to the whole family; starts at 6 pm. Reservations are recommended but not required.
